- Linc is starting to pull up and cruise on furniture. Everyday there’s a new development. Yesterday it was crawling. Today, walking.
- A visit to The White Hart before walking the pathway along the Thames. It was a warm, sunny day. Maybe one of the last of the season. We watched planes overhead and stood by the water, watching the sparkles fade as the sun went down. Linc loves plane watching and smiles anytime he sees one.
- Battersea Park. The leaves are starting to fall and my seasonal allergies have returned. We walked the cherry blossom tree row, where we sat at the start of spring. That was the first day taking Linc out when the weather finally warmed. A bit nostalgic. A bit bittersweet.
Discovered a ‘playground’ that looked as if it were straight from The Hunger Games. Kids were repelling down ropes and running around eating pizza and drinking sodas.
- It’s been an Intense week and I’ve been trying to find time to myself in between walking Linc around while he holds my fingers and spotting him as he tries to climb every piece of furniture in the house. A bit of yoga and meditation during his naps. Reading. Writing. Taking photos of small, simple moments. It sounds silly, but even laundry feels like somewhat of a meditative process. The little things, I guess.
